After another long hiatus, Perusing the Pages will begin to see activity again. Please take some time to look around and see what's been updated over the next few days.

Quote of the Month

(From Elizabeth Gilbert on nurturing creativity)
"Listen you, thing, you and I both know that if this book isn't brilliant that is not entirely my fault, right? Because you can see that I am putting everything I have into this, I don't have anymore than this. So if you want it to be better, then you've got to show up and do your part of the deal. OK. But if you don't do that, you know what, the hell with it. I'm going to keep writing anyway because that's my job. And I would please like the record to reflect today that I showed up for my part of the job." - Elizabeth Gilbert

Featured Fanart

I just love fanart, especially fanart about my writing. It's always so interesting to see how your own description of a place, character, or object will look like in the mind of another person. It's always been my belief that if other people's idea of a character are similar to yours, then you've done a good job of describing them.

Since I love fanart so much and since I know at least a few of my site followers are skilled artists and since I know at least one of my site followers had drawn a piece of fanart for one of my stories, I thought I'd post a few of my favourite pieces of fanart here for all to view.

Just go to the Forum and post your fanart there in the appropriate thread and if I like it enough, you might see it here on the main site. Pretty cool, huh?

So get drawing, painting, sculpting, carving, sewing, graphics making and scanning!

Archive

When people make new fanart, I'll put the older ones in an archive here.
